Help: Removal of trunk liner
I have a spoon rear strut bar and i want to install it soon. However, my only problem is that i want to install it soon but i don't know how to remove the trunk liner (that carpeting crap in the trunk). Could anybody gimme some advnce on how to remove it? Also, i have a 5th generation prelude (bb6). Any help would be greatly appreciated!
No need to remove anything actually. The SPoon bar is in 3 pieces. Take the mounting plates off of the polished section. Determine which is left and right. Then you can gently peel the liner inward and down enough to get to the 2 mounting points. You will need a 14mm deep socket and wrench to remove them. Once you have a bracket on the studs you can feel it thru the liner and cut a rectangular opening for the bar. Be sure to torquwe the retaining nuts to 28 foot pounds during assembly of the brackets to the shock mounts.
I think NTPOG also has an article and instructions on their site.

Hey SH_Mon, does the Spoon Strut bar clear the spare tire or must it be removed?

the tyre sits below the trunk floor, of which sits below the strut towers.
deduce for yourself by getting a bit more intimate with your trunk.
