No need to remove anything actually. The SPoon bar is in 3 pieces. Take the mounting plates off of the polished section. Determine which is left and right. Then you can gently peel the liner inward and down enough to get to the 2 mounting points. You will need a 14mm deep socket and wrench to remove them. Once you have a bracket on the studs you can feel it thru the liner and cut a rectangular opening for the bar. Be sure to torquwe the retaining nuts to 28 foot pounds during assembly of the brackets to the shock mounts.
