got the engine installed and running today. the b-pipe flexpipe area i believe is bad cause my exhaust is kinda loud, but no problem though. when i start it up it revs high for like 3 seconds then returns to normal idle. i dont know what the rpms are cause my cluster isnt together yet. my ecu was showing code 8 the first few times i started it then it disappeared after the 3rd time. still have axles to install yet. if weather is good tomorrow then im going to get it on the road and take some pictures, which will be under the link i posted here.

 

Hey im new to this website and i can really use anyones help i have a 90 prelude si i just did a motor swap myself put a 2.1 si motor in there finished it got it running after 4 to 5 min of car running car just shut off. I put everything new in the car wires plugs cap rotor im not getting any spark to the engine replaced main relay the igniter, distributor and the coil no spark can anyone give me an idea what the problem is Has anyone with the same car had the same problem? What was the problem?

 

The b21a is not a crv motor its the same as the b20a the b21a is a bigger block and a lot stronger block I duno how much horse power the b21a pushes out I got to research that

 

hit a deer a month after i got it running and trashed the whole front passenger side and all the way down to the rear quarter panel. pulled the motor and bought an '89 2.0si. i have painted the engine bay and going to change the clutch and timing components while it is out. i have plans to get the calipers powder coated, the 17" motegis i have powder coated as well. will also strip the underside and rubberize it for winter. the car came from cali and has 113,000 miles and not a spot of rust just clear coat fade. paid 800$ for it with a bad rod knock.

 

How much HP does thhat motor have. That's not the CRV B series is it.
