I've seen pics of people that have done it, that's about it though. I only ever had a person in the back of my 4th gen once and that was when we were test driving it.

I've been thinking about doing that and making it all one big space for the trunk and putting 2 subs there and still having some room to put things in the trunk. There's a shop up here called Dreammakers Kustoms I think, they do work like that. They seem pretty good too.

But anyway, I've seen some meet pics where people have done that. There was one where the guy just gutted them out and then put a box around it... so it was like his trunk just got bigger. Didn't put anything in it thought. :dunno:

Just don't drill any screws directly into the floor.... that's the gas tank right under there.

Fold the back part down and pull up the carpet on the bottom corners, you will to a 10mm bolt on both sides, then take those out

The bottom half, lift up on the corners, and you're see little clips, you pull on them and lift at the same time. The bottom half will then come out. Should only take about 5-10 min. to do this whole process

Now you have to worry about the cross brace!

If you're gonna enlarge your trunk or put a large enclosure in there that you'll have to remove the brace then you're gonna loosen up the chassis.

I hope that you don't drive it hard.

If you do it then invest in the Upper Strut brace for the tops of the struts and the lower tie brace for the bottoms. The back seat floor brace wouldn't hurt either. You wont gain any stiffness from wood or fiberglass that you'll build the enclosure from. So you're gonna have to do something or you might take a corner really hard and have some windows pop out!
