Default Next biggest hp gain mod?

I have DC sport headers and AEM CAI. What mod could i do next and get the next biggest HP gain? I was thinking maybe exhaust. But, I was told the Apex'i V-tech controller adds alot of hp. Let me know..

Well, first what you do is pull the engine, then rebuild top to bottom, "bolt-on" a turbo, THEN put on a nice exhaust to get rid of those gases.

No but in all seriousness... try either of your two options, exhasut or V-Tec controller.

P.S. Its V-Tec, not V-Tech, thats a company that makes phones. :ugh:

vtec controller is proven to add 33hp to parts of your power band.. (not complete gain)... but you'll get a nice gain through out the power band.

hm.. exhaust would be a nice thing to do.. then all your other mods can get a little more power vs your stock exhaust.

but if you REALLY want a gain (and have some dough to through around), go turbo. cant get more power from a 'mod' then that.

also, think about pullys/cam gears... internal engine parts.. the list goes on.

just read about stuff, and put on what suits you.

thanks. So, I can get 33hp with the v-tec controller by how? Do I get the HP by ajusting the fuel curve or other things? How hard is it to install? I dont think i'll mod it too much. Cause, I have a ZO6 Vette to go fast in. Hopefully trading it on a supra TT soon. But, I just wanted to get the basic performance upgrades and the little things that are not to pricy that added a decent amount of HP for the buck. Thanks for the help.

you wont get that much hp gain in all.. just in a part of the power band.. i'll show you a page with what i mean when i get back to my house..

it's a hassle to install, b/c you have to wire some stuff in.. i'll link you with an installation guide so you can see.. it isnt all that bad though.

you can adjust your fuel curve and change where vtec engages.. i'll get back to you when i get back to my house..

no..

you can opt for a a-afc... which is just the fuel curve controller... (same price as v-afc though).. but that wont add the punch that lowering v-tec will :naughty:
