Default Lude in shop

Well I was driving on the on ramp to the highway and I stepped on it hit vtec in 3rd then slammed it into 4th, all of a sudden both atts light and engine light came on. I pulled of the highway and the engine felt weak and felt like it was shaking a bit. Well to make a long story short it brought it to the shop and they said one of the valves had no compression what they told me was one of the valves was burnt and they were going to see if any of the other valves needed to be straighned and also I needed to get the head machined I guess it was warped. Man this id the first major repair to the car since I owned it!!!!Crappy thing is I bought a new townhouse and it's built at the end of this month sh!tty timing well she' been good to me.

how many miles are on your lude and did you use vtec a lot? a problem like that on a honda engine is rare unless the engine was pushed a lot or has higher mileage............

Strange, any over-revving or running low on oil? I'm surprised to see a Honda motor do this without something else leading into it.
