how to install Type R shift knob?!?!

Default how to install Type R shift knob?!?!

i just got a chrome type R shift knob for my lude, but i dont know how to install it nor how to take off the stock knob?!?! please help me guys!!!!

You pull down on the stock boot and then unscrew the shift knob.

Let me elaborate on Mark's advice. Try to separate the knob and boot by hand. Worst case scenario stick a flathead screwdriver CAREFULLY and separate the two pcs. Then unscrew the stock knob and replace w/the new one. Voila!:thumbup:

j/c as to why you would want a Type R shift knob anyway, there never was a Prelude Type R ever built, nor is there any such thing.

why spend a ****load of many on a damn knob anyways? that could be spent on some engine part or something :-P

it's like buying a trim kit, when you could get a header or intake, etc, etc...

that's just my 2 cents. :-D
