2001 Prelude Cam Gear Adjusment
You will get the most benefit from cam gears by dialing them in on a dyno.
Have you upgraded your cams as well?
For now, the safest approach is to set both cams to 0°.
Too much advance or retard and you run the risk of piston-to-valve collision.
All other things equal, adjusting the timing of the intake and exhaust cams affects where power is made in the powerband. More valve overlap favors high end output over low-end power.
The key is to find the correct balance.

imo, cam gears should be used for degreeing in big cams. adjusting them on the dyno afterwards wont net significant results and just adds time to your dyno session meaning more money.
so, leave them at 0 and enjoy the pretty looks.
