Your sure it's not coming from your valves?

FooD2000 is right... sounds more like a valve adjustment problem than a distributor bearing.

ummm the car just hit 190,000 miles and then the clicking got real bad. I popped the hood and applied some pressure to the distributor and the clicking muffled.... and when I got the engine replaced they said the bearing was failing. ;-; I love my prelude but I put so much money into it.... but if it is the valves.... how would I adjust it?

ooooook.... now if I tell you guys this you have to promise TO laugh... XDDDD ok ok ok ok I'm still laughing myself... but yeah... turns out there was no oil. I put some more in but it's still making the clicking noise..... and the noise was coming from the valve cover. XD umm.... I assume some damage was done to the engine.... but will that clicking noise ever go away? I'm letting it sit now and just.... I unno.... soak up some oil? XD I'm not big with engines obviously but I'm a mastermind with electronics.... but yeah.... oil clicking noise should I just geta new engine... again? XDD or can this be fixed?

a new engine typically gets rid of these clicking noises. A new car has the same effect.

You ruined the motor... Running with no oil = death to engine...

The only way to fix it is to rebuild it, or get a new motor.

Have fun, next time check your oil...

ok..... my car died..... and the guy who towed it said it sounded like the distributor went going bad.... would that by any chance create the clicking noise.... like spark plugs misfiring? because I pulled out the plugs and they were in terrible shape I replaced them.... and the car started briefly... and in that brief moment I didn't hear clicking... and I KNOW the bearing in my distributor is going bad. `~` when I turn the key it pretends it's gonna run and it turns over and stuff but doesn't stay on..... anyone?
