Prelude problems 92
I have a honda prelude type s and have some weird wine noise comming from the transmission is this normal, it's my first prelude.

A wine nois only when car is in gear starts about 3000 rpms gets louder when the rpms get higer. I dont think this car has a vetc in it someone told me it was the vtec kicking in but its not a si so I dont think this one has it in it.

Your car doesnt have Vtec...might need your transmission serviced.

I don't know If it does I'ts a type S 92 not an Si it has a 2.2l engin so I don't know if thats the vtec engin or not.

I stupid Yea I checked its the vtech I change out the plugs and found out its the 2.3l vtech I't just doesn't say it aneywhere on the engin???

Check the block code...I gotta feelin you have the H23 (non-vtec)
