thanks for all the info...i began taking off the dash till i found the alarm..the alarm was ticking like a bomb...i unplugged everything from the alarm and tried to start it, now my windshield wipers move really slow even when there off lol..i cant take this..electrical is not my thing..nor is spending money to fix it..i wish all u guys were my neighbors,...throw u a 12 pack and we'd be set right! ...i work at circuit city so im just gonna have one of the installers come take a look at it

 

Is your car an auto? Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't auto ludes have an ignition switch recall on them?

Unplug the brain of the alarm and make sure the battery connections are solid. I had an OEM alarm on mine that would disable ignition, yet I had no remote to shut it off, so I unplugged the brain and it started right up.

 

brain removed starter wire re-soldered..starts like a pro lol...thanks for all the input..thankfully it wasnt my ignition switch cause i have no money right now...

now go out and crack some vtec for me and my now running prelude.
