Default Timing Belt

Someone Help Me please!
My 1989 Honda Prelude is at 170k and i wanna change my timing belt myself for the learning process.
i read the manual and it says to disconect the ignition wire and engine wire harnes preotector before removing the valve cover but there are still two pipes that are still connected to the valve cover. one comes from the intake manifold chamber and another from the air flow tube. can i disconnect them without any dangers. im worried they may be fuel lines and i may need to relieve pressure.
what are those pipes?
ive looked all over the manual and it doesnt say anything about them.

also do i need to take out the spark plugs to remove the valve cover?

im a newb at this

the pipes connected to the valve cover will not be fuel that's for sure... they are probably pcv tubes means nothing if you take them off... for the rest of the job i'll let someone else respond to that because I HATE TIMING BELTS lol

Thats prolly the easiest timing belt to replace lol

Buy a manual and it can be done in about 4 hours, if you have someone helping you out

SOunds good.
Also im from Australia and all the auto shops list my engine as a B20a6 engine but all the online stores from the US list it as a B20A5 engine. wpuld it make a difference if i bought a timing belt from US for the B20A5 and put it into my B20A6 enigne? Timing belts are damn expensive down here, about $100 bucks so i wanna buy one online from the US cause they onli cost about $30 US.

I hope youre not at 170k miles on the original belt lol. These are invasive engines and that would get ugly if the belt broke. Pistons dont like valves lol.

When should the timing belt be changed if it was originally changed at 80k?
