i have a 85 prelude with a problem i just can't figure out. The battery in the car will not charge. I have replaced my battery,alternator,voltage regulator (external), and all wires in between. every part of the charging system is new. I put my volt meter to my battery and i get no charge. I have had the car in at 2 different shops, one of which was the dealer, and they couldn't figure out what was wrong. every time i put a new alternator in it is dead in seconds. any ideas what could be wrong?

 

Perhaps something's shorting out... Are your grounds all making good contact?
