Default what year 5th gen. base type prelude should i get

hey guys i need help
im 15 years old and gettin a car soon
i want a 5th gen prelude base type ( not a fan of SH) but dont know what year . . .
any suggestions

As long as it's a 5spd you won't have a problem

thanxx but wouldnt the engine have high milage if i get an old 5th gen

If you think a 97 is old than thats you...I have a 92 SI with 151k

I had a 92 with 225k and a 97 with 86k.

Preludes hold their value. 2001's are a little pricey still. I would say a 99. That is what I have. It's right in the middle of the year range. You get 5 more hp than 97-98, plus you get the better looking honeycomb grill instead of the plain one that 97-98's have. Also. here's a link to a 5G parts website:
