Default what engine would be best

hey my name is robert im pretty new to this forum but anyways . i recently blew up my h2.3 and im in the market 4 a new motor. i was tryin 2 make my lude different in anyway possible and i wanted 2 make my lude a six speed and if i couldnt do that wats the best 5m i can get that will handle good boost

you wont get a 6speed unless you get a custom tranny $$$

Is the rsx type s a 6 speed? u could do a k20a2 swap into it. I'm sure its possible but i have heard k20 swaps and really annoying and expensive.

im lookin into gettin a jdm h22a from this site http://japanpowerinc.com/index.htm

i heard that it does not take well 2 boostin and if that was true i am goin with the f22b

F22B is an excellent choice its cheap, reliable and puts out the same power as your old H23 :thumbup:

I was offered a h23 for free after my buddy did a h22 swap in his 92 Si. I had no room for it...so he sold it for $150. Look around and you can find good deals on both engines.

The only difference I found in the 2 are torque ratings.

h23a = 156 ft pds @4500
f22b = 148 ft pds @5000

how hard would it be 2 put a gsr in my car , and who makes good turbo kits for ludes or would it be best 2 build my own ?

Hmm...I wouldnt recommend that swap. Im sure it can be done but it would be cheaper to go with what everyone has posted. You would have alot of custom shit on that swap for sure. My vote is :nono: for the B series in place of the H series in a Lude. But thas my 2 pennies.
