I replaced my stock tail lights and the car does flood through a tiny tiny crack! During heavy rains i have 3-4 inches of rain in the trunk! Luckily I never park it on a hill and i keep a few old shirts to help with the water!

Just had to throw this out there... i also own a lude in NJ and remember those 10 days of rain... holy shit they sucked. I'm lucky my car wasnt flooded either, being that I had no choice but to drive through a flooded route 46. Hope all turns out well for you and your ride.
