air/fuel gauge

Default air/fuel gauge

so im in the process of installing all my guages and finished the volt meter and oil presure now im doing the a/f next but i need to know what wire is the signal wire

so if anyone has installed one of these could you tell me plz

All those gauges are useless unless you are boosted

well i am planning on it but now im just getting the simple things out of the way now do you know what the signal wire is or did you just wanna put in your 2 cents?

u have to splice the purple wire it was on my a/f to the white wire on the o2 sensor

white with black dashes on it i belive i can check on my car but it is so low
it is a tight fit

now would it be on the main harness in the car as well?

yes it goes into the main harness. but its in a giant loom so you should just trace it up from the o2 in the exhaust manifold and carefully attatch where it wont be exposed to direct heat. 3m makes something called a terminal splice lock or some fuckin name like that. it makes a clean connection and you dont have to tape the piss out of the connection

ok thats what i thought so i need to trace the wire and then i think i wanna keep the wire in the car not and not attach it under the car just incase something melts

thanks if i figure it out i definetly post up pics and everything
