Default need to make higher rev limit?

I have a 94 prelude with a h22a and my rev limit kicks in a 6200 that not right because on other dynos it says 6800 i need to find out if theres any chips that can bump it up or am i just gonna have to stick with it... another question whats the difference between the h22a and the h22a1/h22a4?

Why would you want it at 6800?

H22A = JDM
H22A1 = USDM 93-96
H22A4 = USDM 97-01

i wanted my rev limiter at red line because 6200 is just way too early not enough rpm after v tech shuts off around 5800

I don't know what the engagement point is for an H22.....but i do know that pushing the redline higher is a bad idea.....especially if your car has no mods.

check to see if you are throwing a code. I don't think the rev limiter should be at 6200 on a H22... I have a 99 and the redline is 7400 and rev limit is at something like 8200. I don't know if 4G ludes are different, but it's the same engine so I don't think so. Also, make sure you are at normal operating temperature. I got rev limited early because the engine was still cold.

im curious how on a stock motor u can have a redline of 7400 but the rev limiter isnt cuttin you out for another 1000 rpm. normally redline is where your car is designed to start cuttin. thats why its called redline, unless someone did something different
