Lol, I drive around in Vtec with my cel on all the time! Just gotta know what code it's givin ya. Hope u got ur problem fixed.

 

CELs and LIMP MODE please explain me someone what's that? i have no freaking idea what's the hack is that? where it's located and what do i have to do with it...my vtec is not working please, help me!!!!!

 

How do i do this? I have a feeling when the guy who did the H22 swap in my car(1994 Prelude) (I bought it from him after he did the swap) didnt change the ECU from the H23 to the H22, OR it could be what i was reading here.. because my H22 is redlining at about 6100rpms, if i try to drive it fast i have to be in 5th at 90MPH or it will redline. what i think is weird about that is that i had a civic DX with a D16 last year and i could be in 3rd gear till 95MPH with no prob.


if you need more info on whats up with my car let me know. I seem to think it doesnt have the right ECU in it. but im trying to get other opinions.

(Yes i know i shouldnt be going that fast anyways, but i could tell something was up and plus i just got the car a week ago.)
