It seems that all of the real clean ones I'm finding are automatics. I went to www.autotrader.com for my area and have found some very nice ludes close to me, but man, people are wanting in the 6-9000 dollar range for them. I was planning on 4-6000, but still thats high for a 10-14 year old car!

yeah it is. i say try haggling down the right car, and DON'T buy an automatic. you may also want to contact the honda dealerships in your area, ask if any ludes have been traded, and ask the service department if anyone's having tranny problems and wants to sell their automatic cheap. than you swap in a manual, and you have a clean, dealer-maintained car.

Yeah, there was a red 96 one owner with leather at a dealer near me, it sold a few hours before i called about it, they were asking 8,550 and said that they got 8,300 for it. I'm not crazy about red though, and 80% of the ones I'm finding are red. But damn thats high!

yeah that's a lot of money. well keep searching, be patient. you might want to start calling tow yards, etc. it might be worth finding a cheap one to restore, at this point. although, the original owner, all stock, all service records car is the best one you can possibly buy. you'll have to pay for it tho.

I have already found a junker 93 auto with a blown engine. It has been repainted once pearl white, and a very shoddy job at that.It has dents and scrapes all over it. Interior is nice though, if you like blue interior. I thought about getting it for a parts car, the guy only wants 500 bones, and it does have some 17s on it. But I am looking for that elusive clean one owner, out there with leather interior and preferably bluegreen in color, like the one I had.

the junker might be worth it for a project, but if it needs paint that makes it not very cost-effective.
