im keeping stock internals.... i figure stock compression ration (10:1) which i know is really high for turbo aps, with low boost (4-5psi) is the equivelent of low compression (8:1) with high (10-15psi) boost. for half the cost and less than half the work. im not too worried about toasting the engine because i can always rebuilt. unless i fuck up the block, then i will swap a new engine. but im thinking i can accomplish what i want

yea a h22 is a closed deck block and can be put through a lot of abuse, read some of the top honda tunning books out, they say 10 psi is safe on an h22 and 15 is getting near the danger line.

Anyone here using HONDATA with a Turbo lude, leme know what obd1 you went to...I NEED TO KNOW!!

not neccesarily...if they plan on running more than 14 or 15 psi then yea you need to sleeve the block. but for the most part the h22 can handle boost well.........its the factory ecu and map sensor that dont like boost.
