I am looking for a new taillight appearance, as the rear end of my car needs a little exterior spicing. Taillights and a wing I am aiming for, but right now taillights first.

Heres what I want to do

we take those altezzas and smoke the lense black just enough so its black but if you look closely you can see through it (aka not pitch black).

2. I have access to a pair of the paintable taillight covers and I want to have them painted to match the car ala a nice glossy white (car is painted pearl white) place them over the smoked taillights to give it that molded and unique look. I also have the JDM headlights hence the black lense taillight matching.

So thats it for the taillights wat do you guys think, I'm just looking for something different to do, and I've never seen anything like that here in jersey.

 

If thats what you want then do it....its your car i personally wouldnt choose those tail lights cause they look ricey

 

You won't be able to recognize the taillights at all. Only the pattern of light coming from them. will be a cool red ring as seen on the chrysler pacifica, its really neat looking. but the taillights will mostly be white to match my car and then the red circle will be smoked black so you can't even see the taillight to match the black housed headlights.
