Default Clutch leak..

So I just had a new clutch put in 2 weeks ago, and it runs beautifully. 2 days ago, I had my friend at Sun Tire take a look at my car just to give me an idea what needs repair etc. Last night, my clutch started losing pressure, and I checked the fluid and it was *bone* dry. At what points could a leak be caused? All he checked was my oil pan, cv joints, and my spark plugs. I'm convinced something they did was the issue, since it was running fine until the day after they looked under my hood.

look at the clutch master cylinder, check for any leaks there. there would be only one hard line coming out of the MC, follow that to the slave cylinder and check for any leaks there.

also check the "bleeder" up in front of the tranny. it is coincidence that it happened right after your shop visit.....example....you probaly filled it up right now correct? is it bone dry again? probaly not.....it takes time to leak so i highly doubt the shop did anyhting in that short amount of time.

I thought about that too, but he filled it up the night before it happened..

on some vehicles the clutch master cyl will leak inside the vehicle so the leak is not visible from under the hood. any other leak would be obvious since honda uses external slave cyl.

:werd: check your carpet behind where the MC is.

When you change the master cyclinder, you should also change the slave cyclinder as well.

it is really funny that you guys said all this. i just filled up my cluth resovoir and let someone else drive my car around the block since i was selling it. i went to start it up two days later and the clutch pedal just went to the floor with no resistance. i checked the resovoir and it was empty with fluid all on the ground. it is coming from the slave cylinder.
