Default 23,000 Volts!!

Well I finished my TSX retro I've been working on a couple weeks ago, but have finally taken some pics to show you guys.

Here's my list of ingredients:
JDM Prelude headlights
TSX projectors (color modded)
Koito Ballasts (from Lexus RX330)
Phillips D2S bulbs
"XENON" bezel from E46 BMW

From start to finish the project took about 15 hours to complete in my spare time. I will try to post some night time and wall shots tonight after work. Already about to do a second retro inside some JDM Legend lights with TL projectors. Tell me what you think.

I don't like that bezel or the eyelid, but I will give you mad props for doing a project like that. I completely failed in my attempt to retrofit.

O.K. Heres the night shots. You'll have to excuse the rotting shed door I parked in front of to show the cut-off, but you get the idea.

Looks much beter in person. You can also see the yellow Lexus IS300 projector foglights I retroed into the OEM Prelude housing.

Here is what the color mod is all about.....Some projectors turn out better that others, but I'm pretty satisfied how mine turned out. The only drawback of the modifcation is that the cut-off isn't AS sharp as stock, but it looks sick coming down the road at you.

I appreciate the compliments fellas.

That's the part I try not to think about. J/K All in all I spent about $590 on the project. I paid like 210 for the projectors, 200 for the ballasts and bulbs, 80 for the bezels, and probably around 100 for all the materials. Add another 300 for the headlights and 100 for the eyelids if you want a total headlight package cost.(I bought those long ago) But hey...you get what you pay for, and I'm very satisfied with the end results. The feeling when driving next to people with the 10,000,000K plug n' play kits is worth it.

Nice job man. You did it the right way too  I've been blinded a few times by improper installations in (former) halogen housings.
