The hose is about 3/4 inch diameter, has several curves. I connects to the engine just below the distributer and leads to a valve that is mounted to the firewall. I actually stil have the pic sent to the dealer so they could order a new one.

Well i just cut my hose right after the hole/crack. Then i just reconnected the hose. If you would like i could take a pic of where my hose WAS leaking and point it out to you...

Anyways going back to my distributer... but first for some background info on what happened. Yesterday i just cut and reconnected then i drove the car today. Everything was fine. Then i restarted my car at about 12:30 and i noticed that my check engine light turned on.. I just drove with it on for about 1-2 hours. I drove home then i turned back on the car and the car had a slow/weak start up then the CEL turned off.. is the slow/weak start up caused by distributer? this slow/weak start up happened to me once before...

If your slow/weak start happened before all this mess with the radiator hose leaking, I would lean more towards a battery problem. Any auto parts store can test your battery and alternator for proper function for free.

Also, thicker core rads are a waste of money unless you car is a track car. I live in Florida and my lude has never overheated, even with a non-operational fan all last summer.
it's been pretty cool here in texas since i put my jdm in , but the fan has never kicked on. i can turn the ac on and both fans run. should i be worried? i haven't run it for more than an hour though.

I never checked until i fixed my hose and refilled my radiator.. when i was turning on the heat with the ac on i noticed that the fans didnt stay on the whole time. so im assumming that it is normal?

If you car is 96+, take it to autozone to have them pull the engine code for free. The code should have been stored even though the light is not on and the battery has not been disconnected since the light came on. If its older, do a search on HAN for checking engine codes on your model year.
