Default 89 prelude starting problem. help !!!!!!

one day out of the clear blue sky driving from place to place for an hour or so get in my prelude w/ little over 100k on it and the starter wouldnt turn at all. batteries good so I replaced the starter all the fuses are good as are the relays. I looked at all the wiring connections and looked for a neautral safety switch but cant find any where around the shifter (manual tranny)the starter had never given me any problem but figured w/ 100k+ I may as well go ahead and replace other than that I have no clue where else to look
and haynes mauals arent worth crap. it is a 89 prelude si any help would be greatly appreciated. so help...please

It could be the clutch swith gone bad. You know the way you have to press the clutch in before it cranks. Also, we had a 88 prelude si that had a security key below the steering column. Be sure it's in all the way if yours has one. You could have bumped it lose with your knee. I'm sure it could be a lot of other things, but that's what i would check first.
