Yeah the JDM lights are no diff....unless you want ebay specials stick with OEM:bigok: Maybe you might want clear the orange reflector out if ya get bored. Its really easy to do as well.

Here is one of my tail lights....

When I got my lude it had the god awful altezza lights. I got myself a pair of stock ones, baked them and took them apart, and did the same with the altezzas. I took the clear piece from the altezza and replaced the yellow with it. The color is from a Silvania Siverstar bulb that was in there. I think it turned out real nice.

isn't the tail-light itself sealed from the factory? the weather stripping just keeps water from leaking into the trunk, right?

Yeah, your right. The piece of weather stripping is just a gasket to keep water out of the trunk. The taillights themselves are sealed with a VERY strong adheasive.
