Default Prelude CIA

hey, i recently bought a 1998 prelude and i want to put a cold air intake into my engine, which is a base model automatic. Now i heard that CAI doesnt work for automatics, is that true? if not then what intake would be the best for my car a short ram or CAI?

thanks

An Intake works for both manual and automatics - it has nothing to do with the transmission..lol.

It really is user preference as to which Intake you like; SRI or CAI. Problem with the CAI is that if you are in an area with alot of water, and I mean alot, you run the risk of getting air into your motor causing it to "lock up". You also might want to use the search feature.
