The GSR is lighter and a little faster, kinda like a quicker Civic. The Prelude Si has more torque down low, is probably not quite as fast overall, but has more class than any Integra.
the GSR is stolen because people want the engine and the interior, both of which are extremely expensive and if taken from the car when stolen will result in an instant totalling of the car.
when people refer to the acura integra as the most stolen car in america it isnt gross amount, it is (amount stolen/amount registerd) the prelude is not on that list.
How do you figure. The Teg is an Acura, the Prelude is a Honda.
I know, and it's a little strange that the tables are turned with these two models. But it's true. The interior of a 4th gen lude, particularly an Si or VTEC, feels a little more expensive than an Integra. The dash wraps around you, the seats support you better and look better, the shifter is shorter and blacker. The Integra has kind of a cheaper, as well as less sporty, feel inside. Not a big difference, but a noticable one.
Also, the teg has less torque. Torque is an essential part of luxury or class, or whatever you call it. The lude Si is not torquey by the standards of a true luxury car, but it's torquier than the teg. It feels good because it moves with authority without winding up to 5k rpm and sounding like rice. I also think the lude headlights look way better.
Of course, this is anybody's opinion, but drive both cars and I think you'll agree.

Edit: My buddy had a GSR and we compared them side-by-side.
