I'm doing an h22 swap into my integra an I'm having troulble finding out what this is, its from a japanese prelude and was hoping one of you prelude owners could identify this for me. It appears to be broken or maybe just missing something but I was wondering if anyone knows what this black box shaped object with 2 holes that is right under the intake manifold is. Thanks for any help!

It looks like some kind of mount? Maybe oil cooler? Really hard to tell

 

That is the vaccum tank. It is very common for the nipples to be broken off like that on salvaged motors. It's pretty cheap to replace, not over $30 from dealer.

 

the one on my jdm was broken too, so i took mine off before i took the motor out, so as not to break it.
