Default Clutch problems Prelude 88 2.0 si

I will be at the stoplight and it will turn green and i will go very very slow but at 5000rpm. it will eventually speed up but it will not run in 4th gear or it acts like its in neutral. Someone told me it was my clutch another said to bleed the clutch and another said it was the transmission. can anyone tell me what it could be and some of the symptoms of my listed problems. and if its the clutch or trans how much does it cost to replace and go in the shop.

Your clutch is slipping and needs to be replaced. Is it the original clutch?

I really don't. I know on my motor it is around $600 or so for OEM parts and labor, but it may be more on your motor.

thanks. i was looking online and saw that some people have paid only 200 for labour. If i could get that and buy my own clutch, i saw one for 165, then it won't cost me that much at all to fix my baby.
