Default 91 Prelude 2.0si Fuel Pump Question

Hey, I have a 91 Prelude 2.0si that I just recently bought. It's got 132,000 miles on it. When I'm driving around sometimes it will bog down, especially after I've been sitting at a red light and then start to take off; I have to pump the gas pedal for it not to die. It chokes for awhile and then comes back to life. I went into a store the other day and when I came out the car wouldn't start. It would turn over and want to go but it would die. When it's not acting up it runs great. So I'm pretty sure it needs a new fuel pump, but I don't want to go out and buy one if that's not what it is. Can I access the fuel pump by taking the back seat out? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Well... when you get on it, does the car hesitate? If you run it hard and the it doesn't hesitate, that means teh fuel pump is efficiently getting enough fuel to the car. I wonder if maybe you just have a carbon build up and the car needs a fuel enjection cleaning?

Did you just recently do an oil change?
Also it maybe the Idle air control valve, I know alot of times when cars have trouble idling it's because the Iacv is acting up. Any check engine lights?

the car acts like it is running out of gas, but there is gas in the car.
