with a turbo you get the potential it has too offer which, in turn, you could potentially get more power.. superchargers are a bit different, pretty much what you buy is what you get.. but you will stand out in a crowd a bit more because there is more turbo'd cars then superchargd ones.. just my opinion..

If you supercharge your car, you get instant horsepower. Superchargers take less time to kick in so you get horse off the line. Turbos on the other hand have to spool, depending on which turbo you get it depends on how much spooling it does before it kicks in. From what I have heard if they make a supercharger for your car most people would get those, since they are instant horse. Now in my case I have a '94 and I like the blow off valve of a turbo. So I would get a turbo. I think turbos are becoming way more popular than superchargers. Hope this helps.

J/W do you understand the impact a swap will have on your pocket?

Im having it replased because I have 175,000 miles on it, and it wouldnt cost alot to replace a 2.2 engine, I have a good friend that charges $50 an hour for anything you want fixed or put in your car and he's really good so i dont have to worry about financial problems

Turbo a lot cheaper, but I like supercharger for that low end torque

I just got rid of my JRSC Prelude for personal reasons. I had to get a family car. I like the JRSC a lot when I had it. I've driven turbo charged cars and they are fun with a lot more potential for upgrades. But the JRSC is CARB legal. Unless you are going with the Greddy turbo it will just be another expense that will put a hole into your pocket.
