Default ECU...What should i do?

After replacing my coil, wires, plugs, cap, rotor and distributor i have come to the conclusion that my ECU is the reason why my car won't spark. I checked the main relay yesterday and that checks out fine. When i put the ignition in the ON position my check engine light doesn't come on. So i assume it's my ECU...Before i buy a new one can anyone tell me what i might have missed or why the check engine light doesn't come on when i turn the key to the ON position. Also, how much would a new ECU cost me on a 1993 Honda Prelude Si 4WS? I don't want to buy one if i don't have to....Thanks

The main relay is a two relay unit. It has one relay for the ECU and another for the fuel pump. How did you come to the conclusion that the main relay is not the problem?

Well, it's a relay. You have to check for continuity between certain pins while applying voltage to other pins. Did you do that?
