2001 Prelude S Upper Control Arm Question! HELP!
So I'm installing a camber kit tomorrow, the adjustable upper ball joint type, on my 2001 prelude base model. I'm reading this Chilton (yes, a Chilton) and it says that I can't reuse the upper control arm. Is this true? I need to know asap! I was thinking just have the balljoint pressed out and the new adj. on pressed in, correct? Some please set me straight here! Thanks
every camber kit ive ever seen involves changing the bushings that connect the UCA to the upper wheel well.
the balljoint itself is not involved in the camber correction at all, i would say u are just confused and need to consult the manufacturer for directions...
allow me to comment that EVERY camber kit ive seen for 92-01 prelude's has turned out to be complete BS.
the alignment shop will usually outright refuse to touch it because it comes out of adjustment the next day
IMO the only time u would need a camber kit is if u are lowering ur car 2 inches or more
and if u are lowering your car 2 inches or more u are a fool

Well, I'm on KYB non-adj shocks/struts with neuspeed race springs and 17s. I absolutely love the ride, but there is negative camber and it does go through the tires, albeit not as fast as other cars I have seen- but it's still costly in the long run. Any other options?
