Some sort of EM system like preludedriver said.

Then ignition, intake mani, internals, fuel system.

Good start.
You don't need to do anything with the ignition system unless you're turbo and making 400-600 hp. That's when I'd start upgrading. I know a bit about all motor. I've been working on my evil project for over a year now. Golden Eagle sleeved forged internal block with full head build!

Probably the header I'm buying next!!!

Just picked this unorthodox crank pulley up for 75 bucks!

If you guys are really interested and it would pursuade you guys to keep an all motor intended car all motor I'll elaborate a little on the build. It hasn't been easy. There's a post on SHO with over 360 posts and 7000+views with all the info. I'll be putting the timing belt back on here within the next two weeks, had to replace my LMA's, upgraded to RC 440CC saturated injectors. Car made 213 hp with an upside down headgasket and minimal fuel tuning, HG (not my fault) oh well you'll have that when you let hillbilly domestic people help you! Blocks good for 70 psi and 1300hp so I'd imagine once it's right I'll throw a 150 direct port kit on it and make close to 400 hp and 300 ft lbs of torque. It's an amazing car really just get's frustrating when you put over 7 grand into a motor and it makes it less relialbe.

Nice! Thanks for sharing!

Looks like a turbo header, I thought we were going all motor here!

I'm new to this whole thing though, excuse me if either of those are false assumptions.

You ever heard the term never ass-ume because you'll make an ass out of yourself hehe! That's a RMF header with 2.5 inch merge collector coated on inside and out. You lose absolutely no accessories with the header. $750 plus shipping. Randy Moore Fabricating and I recommend him for all your custom header needs. Made 17 more hp than a DC sports with no tuning. No 6 month waiting list like smsp and hytech either. Pretty wild header design huh! Also there's no such thing as a turbo header, you mean turbo manifold right?

h: I was goanna say manifold, but you had called it a header so I corrected myself (or so I thought)

Does that header function normally? Its looks so strange and convoluted that it seems inefficient (or as if it serves another purpose, such as a turbo). Merge collector? Interesting! I'll start looking stuff up

Nah, that's an NA header and from the graphs I've seen, functions better than normal. I read on H-T about that thing making ~10-15 more whp than Mugen, Hytech, or SMSP and costs the same or less in come cases.

i dont know about 10-15hp MORE than those others. if you're talking about the header test that is on h-t with a b18c5, all the headers tested were pretty close to each other.

randy moore designed and built those header's for an-r and the various copies on the market before forming rmf.

Here a fun article for those who enjoy reading about the subject:
http://www.tunerzine.com/news/2005/H...t/article.html

Now, does RMF have a website? I'm usually good with Google, but I can't seem to find one!

That header does look pretty cool, but its kinda silly to like a header for a side-effect of it's primary purpose. He probably just had to bend it around to get the right fit.
