Default seem like a good deal?

I was at my local Acura dealership the other day when I happened to see a '00 Prelude for sale. It's a red 5-speed with cloth interior and approx. 46,000 miles. I noticed the back bumper looks like it had been resprayed. (Possibly a 5 mph run in with something...). The car looks like it is in really good shape otherwise. Appears to be well maintained and nice and clean under the hood. Anyway, they're asking $14,000. Does this seem like a very good deal? I'm pretty interested in it.

No. Too expensive. I got mine (00 red prelude 5sp with no damage at all, 50k) for 10k, and I've seen them go for less.

Go with a private seller. I would only reccomend buying from a dealer if they offer a good warrenty, but you don't need that with a prelude.

If you don't buy this one, keep hunting! It's well worth it!

www.kbb.com is what I used to judge the value of my prelude when buying it. I ended up paying slightly less than what it reccomended in a private sale.
