Default 3rd GEn Lude too old?

hey just a quick q

still debating whether to get an old lude/other older car or nicer newer car.

Is buying an old car like that more trouble than its worth? should i just stick with a 95-95 ?

I'm willing to do some work and perhaps $$$, but is it more than its worth?

If you guys dont think a prelude is a good old car to work w/ , what do you think is?
thanks

3rd gens are tempermental. they have their good days and their bad. some are total bad eggs and you'll have nothing but problems, some just need a little TLC and they'll be good as new, some are just gems from the start .

i say pick one up and see if you don't fall in love with it. they have a lot of potential, but little aftermarket support.

What suspension system do they have?

I've always loved the bodystyle.

Nothing beats a mint 3rd gen especially for the price. Except owning both a 3rd and a 4th gen . Used to own a white 91 Si along with my black 92 si and I loved my 91 to death. No matter what the previous owner says check that damn timing belt! Good luck with your search and whatever you do, dont rush it.

if you can find a mint 3rd gen prelude, u'll be set. I happened to find my 3rd gen lude in the back of my dads shop. Put a little money into it and now alls i get from people is sayin how nice it looks for such an old car. A car is never too old, its jus that u need the time and patience to do some work to it. I need to take some pics of my lude. Prolly take em tomorrow after i get out of work, and ill show u what my car looks like and u let me know what u think.
