lower it anymore and you lose suspension travel and handling.

you guys must not know anything about suspension engineering.

i was going to run 225/50/15's on those wheels before i sold em to lookatme, if i still had em i'd probably run 225/45/15 toyo RA-1's on them and smile. but i decided that i didn't have room for 3 sets of wheels, so i stuck with the 17's and OEM wheels i had and decided that i was going to run 235's or 245's on the 17's.

if i was made otu of money i'd buy another set of 15's. probably 15x8 TE-37's and run 225/45/15's.
if I was made out of money....I'd run the 15X8's as well. with some really sticky 225 tires. Same idea as you.

People on forums always think lower is better....cause it looks good. little do they know....their suspension travel goes to hell....and when you driving on the street/track and you hit a bump going 100+MPH....you need every little suspension travel you can get. especially running 450LB-ft spring rates in the front.

My car handles amazingly right now with all the damn tuning/cornerweighting...and upgrading the rear springs....its tossable and handles very well. My turn in is money...and the mid-corner oversteer/understeer is great.

hopefully I can get out to the canyon roads this weekend. I need other people to go with me so people can get a perspective of how quick I am running the canyon road. I don't even consider myself that great of a driver.....but damn my car sticks.
