Default Problems with H22 and ECU

I cant seem to get everything smoothed out after my H22a. The car was running fine(although it wasn't passing smog) until I put in the p13 ECU. Then it started acting up. When I drive it, it jerks, and looses and gains power randomly. For example when I start off in first it's VERY sluggish to go. But in other gears it jumps as soon as I touch the pedal.

If anyone out there can send me on the right direction to fixing my problems I'd be grateful for the advice. Any questions about the car I can answer. Please help.

P.S. - My friend suggested that it could the fuel injectors, I'm not sure if those had to be swapped with the engine or not.

It could be many problems. Assuming that you do not have a cel lit up, check your egr valve, you just perfectly described a problem I had with my h22a, and it turned out to be my egr valve.

yes the fuel injectors need to be 345CC from a H22a, the h23a1 injectors are 240cc and the car will not run right with the non-vtec injectors.
