Nice setup. I finally got mine working, it's an auidovox Fm Modulator (cool name haha). I have no aux input on my stereo so I used the modulator to run it into the radio. Works well, I'm excited. More guns n' roses, eric clapton, and stevie ray vaughan for me!

Did you need any other wires to connect it to your iPod? Can you take any pics of the install? (Just curious to see how you did the wiring to where it connects to the iPod.)

Thanks in advance

anfmanusa,
Most MP3s are not CD quality because they are not lossless. If you want true CD quality sound or higher you need to go with a different audio file type such as FLAC or SHN. So with a MP3 player + FM Modulator you decrease your sound quality a great deal.

the "Lineinput on your Headunit in your car and viola" is where I'm confused, haha. THanks though

sorry i didnt thoroughly explain.

MOst after market radios have a line input or Aux Input in the rear of the radio.
Its two RCA connectors. Just like the ones you would use to hook up your CD changer to your head unit.

Sorry, I can't get any pics of it coz it's behind my head unit, but I can try to describe it. There are auxiliary inputs on some aftermarket headunits where you can plug in a cable that goes to the headphone jack of your mp3 player. (I'm not sure what the cable's called though) Once it's all hooked up you set your deck to Aux mode, turn on your mp3 player, then select a song/playlist to play on your mp3 player. I set my player's volume to 22 and then adjust it from there with deck's volume controls.
