hey i am putting together a 95 prelude vtec block right now and i am missing the rear balancer shafts. I have heard that i do not need this either, but i dont know? if you dont need it, what will/will not happen to the motor? if i dont use it, what do i put in place of the hole of the balancer shafts? thanks a lot.

 

If you dont replace the balancer shaft, your h22 will sound like a old chevy with extra large cams, it'll idle rather rough, and alothough you may gain a couple hp supposedly, Its worth replacing....Otherwise it always sounds like your motor's about to quit....trust me I know a kid who removed his balancer shaft
