Well..

The good news. I was given a Ford F-150 for the day as a rental. Nice truck. I didnt have to shift. I could see EVERYTHING! That was a nice change. Lit up the tires and fishtailed as much as possible as its been raining in NY.

Everything went fine--Got the belts and autotensioner replaced as well as a valve adjustment. As requested, the dealer gave me the old autotensioner back. If anyone has a new one, id be curious to see if its the same.

I guess it would be--but if anyone has a new one from Honda, let me know.

And now Im seriously considering selling my Prelude and getting something where.
1. I dont have to shift. Ive been driving manuals since 1992 and honestly..Im getting tired of it.

2. I liked being able to see over everyone. In the Prelude you get a good view of every SUV's undercarriage.

Any offers on a 2000 crystal blue Prelude? 5spd, all stock, great condition, 58,000miles.

(just had timing belt and autotensioner done)

My Tensioner/belt/head Destroyed At 65,000 Miles. Can Anyone Advise Me?

u need a new head or you can have whatever valves are bent replaced by a machine shop. This is why you change your timing belt at 60,000 like honda says to.
