Hey everyone! Just joined this thread site so hopefully someone can help me out. I have a 2000 Prelude with an JDM H23A DOHC VTEC engine in it right now. Unfortunately the crank bolt has seized inside the crank resulting in me replacing the engine. I bought the exact same engine to put in BUT before I put it in I want to change the timing belt, water pump, tensioner, (Cant find a kit and everything I have seen is changing parts out with the H22 then having to adjust everything to make it work. I just want a simple kit (if there is) to make this simple.)) and everything else that is accessible. A list of parts would be nice if I'm having to change gears and whatnot to make it work, or even a source to get a kit, or belt, pump, tensioner separately. Any information will help, this is my first time doing this so I want to make sure everything is proper so I'm not doing this again, at least not for a while. One I start ill have updates and pictures for everyone. Thanks for your time and hopefully we can get this done in a good timely manner.

 

I have a p28 chipped ecu to get tuned once all done. Prelude power has been a great source so far just so much back and forth on what the better engine is instead of actual information.

 

Pistons hitting valves can cause a bad spot on the rod bearings, you ahout replace those also. Been there done that[right]
