Why do people in Mustangs feel the need to mess with me when I am driving in my Prelude? I know not all Mustang owners do this but it is a high percentage of young people with GTs (and some v6 versions but that makes me laugh). I don't street race and I don't have any decals on my car. It is just a base 99 Prelude with tint on the windows. Yesterday a Mustang decided to act all big and bad and pass me on a country road and then hit his brakes hard and turn. Wow you can pass me when I am going 55 that is some accomplishment.

HeH. Its pretty funny watching a stock gt try to pass a stock h22a1. Their face turns red quick.

 

Are you guys all CRAZY !!!! I own a prelude h22 with couple af mod, and before I had a mustang GT 94 almost stock, and no way the h22 can be faster !!!!
Mustang have way too much torque and HP to be past by a prelude h22, maybe a h22 in a civic hatchback but that's it. I exchanged for a prelude just for the handling and rpm, cause mustang gt are strong. All depend of the drivers too. Give me a 5.0 litre and I'll beat anyone with a h22 STOCK engine in a prelude. No doubt !!!

 

ummm...you might want to read the posts again. only one person made a comment about a prelude being faster than a GT. and my opinion still stands on the drivers that do this kind of shit. it's nothing more than compensation for their miniscule masculinity.

 

Pre1ude, I don't race these fools because I know they have a lot more low end torque and hp and that is fine. I didn't buy my car because it has the best 60 foot time out there. From a stand still I don't think it would be much of a race but I do believe they have 4 more cylinders and 2.8 more liters. I am like you and bought it for the all around package plus I don't see 100 Preludes a day like I do with Mustangs.

 

I personnaly sold my mustang for a prelude because it's a better package deal, for confort, handling, riding, and esthetic. And I do think too that there is way too much mustang around compare to prelude !
