Default Oil Changin

I got my prelude about a month ago, and I've never changed oil in my life. But I think I'll do it myself this time - I'm due for an oil change pretty soon. Does anybody have some recomendations? (what oil/filter brand to use). Also, do you jack up the car, or drive it up on a ramp. Is there any resource for this? I don't think the manual says how to change the oil, or where the filter is. Good day, all.

I use Castrol Syntec 5w30.

As far as lifting up a car, I use the jack supplied in the trunk.

DUDE....it shocks me that people still do that, you can get a decent jack and jackstands for 50 bucks, Its soo much quicker then winding that jack up and its alot sturdier, if your going to do something do it right is saving 50 bucks, better then getting crushed to death under your car trying to save some money on an oil change?

no, don't get ramps. Because if you ever lower your car AT ALL, the front bumper of your car will hit the stand before the tire does & it'll just push it accross the garage floor. Get a good floor jack & stands.

Ok, this is what I'm picking up:

I should change my oil myself
I should get 6 quarts of 5w-30 - Mobile One
I should get an OEM honda filter
Get a floor jack with stands.

WHat am I missing here? Anything? Thanks guys. Are there instructions in the manual? I might get a shop manual too (about 1000 pages about the 98 prelude).
