Default H22 engine differences

I have a H22A in my 98 lude i just wanted to know power difference and effiency differences.

195 hp to the crank 99-01 ludes have 200 hp to the crank...answer your question

Honda's bullshit :wtf: you can't have honda's signature sport compact (pre- S2000) have a lower hp rating than the Accord V6 at the time.

yes many manufactures are guilty of this. for example the Sentra V-spec originally was marketed at 185HP and it only made like 140WHP. Damn 40HP drivetrain loss. Toyota though typically understates their engines.

honda claims "exhaust manifold design improvements" for the 5HP gain in the ludes. most preludes dyno around 165-168 WHP stock

i dont think honda over-rates HP, even in this case, hyundai likes to do that

its entirely feasable that most preludes make closer to 200HP at the crank anyway and honda made a safe bet at 190. plus honda could easily gain 5 or 10HP on the h22a/1/4 with some ECU changes. preludes run rich from the factory to begin with.
