Default Japanese engine swap

I have a honda prelude with a damaged crankshaft due to spinning a bearing. I'm debating on putting a new engine in instead of fixing the crankshaft and getting oversized bearins and going through all that. I found a engine that is from japan, both my engine and the japanese one are 2.3L DOHC and both from a 92 prelude. Also both aren't vtech. I was wondering if anyone has done a swap like this before or knows of any problems that could come up from doing this. I have heard its as easy as just swaping a sensor around, to having to change the exhoust manifold, do some re-wiring and a bunch of other stuff which wont really save me any money. Any information on this would be awesome, thanks alot.

Jay.
