Ricers hate Preludes owners, and Prelude owners hate ricers...

Not exactly. Just as was said before, I think any car enthusiast has an issue with a ricer. I know I do. I have an issue with the useless massive aluminum wings, humongous stickers(oh did you know they could give you 5-10 HP for EACH sticker?!), and huge cans that sound like a bumblebee in a tin can. Why would you do something to your car that takes away from its appearance or performance?! Because you saw it on a movie(enter fast and furious and 2 fast 2 furious)?

I think ricers may have an issue with Lude owners just because the car is great from the get go! It has some power and style. It can run around stock and get stares from people on the highway! I know it hapens all the time here!

Anyway, hate is a pretty strong word, I just dislike what the ricers are doing to their cars. but then on the other hand, it is THEIR car.

Later,
Armond

Honestly i don't really hate them but i really deeply feel sorry, specially when they install those huge wings (the kinda HORNS ones, and the aluminum ones) and pieces of fiber glass with different colors and rims that don't match the ones from the front that by the way are the ones that are supost to be with the high performance rims/tires (FWD) and even the mufflers that take off performance instad improve, ,,,,, (altezzas etc). I think that what they want to do a "statement" as a wild speed lovers but in a bad taste way, many of ricers have a little too much "Fast and Furious" in mind and i think a little imature kid inside, i feel sorry because at the end they spend much MUCH more money with a rice slow car that only "MAYBE" matches a Prelude or a good real sports car in performance but of course you even see new nice cars all screwed by the owners ... other thing, try to discuss with a ricer or even try to make him (her) understand that the wing doesn't "really" makes so much difference when his (her) car is a FWD maybe at the track you'll need but not at the every day ride ... ... by the way, i have a cousin that ownes a Probe 97 GT (i honestly like the stock style) but he has a mosnter rice car that looses for my prelude for more than a car and he doesn't care (HE THINKS THAT HIS CAR LOOK LIKE FERRARI (or ferrice?) LOL) he keeps telling me that he likes my car but his car is more "sporty" and he doesn't give s**t for speed, just the LOOKS ... that why i don't hate them ... i feel sorry for them .. LOL ... this subject is always funny ,,, has no end almost LOL

most all ricers are just ignorant, they think their car can take on anything. ive seen neons, taurus', escorts, god... things you would never think of modding. and they think they have the fastest car on the street. and lots of them dont know how to drive either, ive almost gotten into accidents, cause ricers arent paying attention to driving, they are busy starin at me and revin up their engine, then peelin out and shit.... gay

I don't hate ricers. A ricer is just someone that does things to their car that doesn't make much sense, like put a type-r badge on a lude or a gt-r badge on a mustang. They will also put a muffler on their car that sounds like a fart can and rev their engine to be cool. I think now a days people use the word rice to mean something they hate, like a body kit that is too aggressive for their style or what have you. It is way to over used.

They can do what they want to their car, it is their money. The only thing I hate is when they try to race me, rev their engine or fly by everyone thinking their cool. It makes use real enthusiasts look bad. They either don't have the money to buy nice things or they think it looks good.

Ricers may hate ludes because they don't have one.

it REALLY depends on their definition of rice.... someone i know put a giant aluminum wing and underglow on his lude, he somehow doesnt consider it rice..... I personally think its flamboyant rice.....

No, even thought it looks bad it doesn't mean it is rice. A giant wing on a minivan, that is rice.

Something else I'll add that hasn't been discussed here...... Preludes were always about sophistocation. It was Honda's showcase for their latest technology (4 Wheel Steering, first mass produced car with not just VTEC, but any sort of variable valve or timming abilities for that matter), the interior trim and equipment levels were always classy and fully loaded, and to be honest, it actually fits better with an Acura badge on the hood than a Honda badge. The cloth used on the seats, and the great ballance between go cart quick performance and refined luxury isn't just a ho-hum Honda. I don't see very many Preludes "riced out", but when I do I feel like slapping the idiot who did that. If you want to do that, get a Civic. That's what they're for anymore. But don't touch the Prelude (especially since they are discontinued).

a giant wing on any front wheel drive car is rice. unless you are going for looks, then you just look retarded. but then again, who really just goes for looks? honestly...
