I have a 92 4WS. I LOVE it. The 4WS gave me trouble but someone told me the fix. You need to resoder 10 points on the 4WS ECU. Ever since I did that, it works perfectly.
It is most noticeable in parking lots.
I have taken my car to the track a few times too and the car performs VERY well. I like it!!

its doubtful
4ws ludes have different wiring for the 4ws, sensors in the rear and front for steering angle, extra sensors on the streering wheel, different racks.
long story short you could do it, but id recommend getting a wrecked 4ws lude for parts, otherwise u will make 50 trips to the junkyard.

It would be VERY difficult and time consuming. You would be better off buying a used 4WS Prelude.
Test drive one and see if it is something you like first.

4WS is the coolest thing since sliced bread h: Seriously tho, I have it on my 93 lude and I absolutely love it...I dont know what Predude is talking about, but it helps a helluva lot more than just parking; it helps the car handle SO much better, in low speeds, high speeds, and parking. You'll be able to notice it much more in the 0-35 MPH range, but when you take a long, smooth curve going 85 MPH, its almost just as good as a car with 4WD...

Yes, it's different. the 88-91 Prelude 4WS is all mechanical, and turns based steering input. the 92-94 (92-01 for some other countries) Prelude 4WS is electronic, and steers the rear wheels based on sensor input for Vehicle Speed and Steering Input angle.
